Skids should be strapped at least 2 times.  Run strapping under the skid and around your load.  Connect your straps on top of your load, and apply the tensioner.  The tensioner, T34 for steel strap, is easiest to use on top of your skid.  Slide the tensioner onto your banding, and crank the handle.  You can pull lots of tension, be careful not to damage your product.  A strapping seal is applied to link the two straps.  Cut the extra banding, and you are done!

Some loads need strapping going perpendicular to the first two.  When going under a skid side ways, be make sure the forks from a forktruck don’t hit the straps.
