Several tools have come onto the market for strapping regular objects. For strapping round and irregular objects there were no tools that were easy to use. That was the time Fromm brought out the first banding tool, P380. This tool weighing 15 pounds is very easy to use. The tool comes with a suspension bracket that allows it to counterbalance vertically or horizontally.

An improvement over its previous version, the P-380 has now separated the feed wheel and the welder. The feed wheel has been moved behind the welder. Due to this, the foot under the strapping has become much smaller. This makes it easier to use.

The P380 is also a tool designed specifically for the packaging of rod and bar packages, tubes, pipes and coils. It has adjustable strap sealing, tension and cooling time to ensure secure packaging.

The tool is very reliable and a great combination tool that outperforms separate tensioner and sealer operation. The P380 is applicable for a minimum surface 80mm and small diameters of minimum 240 mm. Since it is pneumatically powered, the tool has a higher efficiency and performance.

The risk of injury using this tool is very minimal and therefore many industries have started taking notice of this product, which is also very reliable and cost effective. Since poly strapping is available at half the cost of steel strapping, many industries are switching to poly strapping too. The P380 is also very easy and safe to use and lighter than steel strapping tools. It does not make a mark on the coil surface. It also does not scratch on galvanized or color coated products. It has a high shock resistance.

One has to pick up the right tool for the right packaging as a loose band or incomplete seal can affect the entire packaging operation. Steel strapping still serves the purpose but pneumatic strapping adds to the finesse of banding round items.

P380 is the first pneumatic powered tool from FROMM that has simplified the process of strapping irregular objects effectively. As it is ergonomically designed, it eases the entire operation.
